| nab half time wrap 2008

Hosted by Garry Lyon and Gorgi Quill, the 5th NAB Half Time Wrap was a huge success, raising $180,000 for The Alannah and Madeline Foundation.
The event took place on Thursday 17th July at the MCG and featured many big names in footy and finance. Michael Roberts kicked off proceedings, followed by an entertaining performance by Greg Champion. Ross Greenwood also took to the stage to provide an entertaining and informative update on the current economic climate..
Guests were given an insight into the current issues facing the AFL from a range of football personalities, including star Carlton forward Brendan Fevola, Melbourne FC President Jim Stynes, and players Matt Maguire, Anthony Rocca and Stuart Dew.
AMF Ambassador, Giaan Rooney was on hand to help us raise $40,000 for our Buddy Bags program, while Kay and Burton’s Jason Scillio urged guests to dig deep at the Main Auction.
Presenting sponsors NAB & Gold Sponsors Datasend, DPA, & DTS were also treated to and exclusive pre event experience, hosted by AMF Ambassador, Robert Di Pierdomenico in the MCG change rooms. Michael Roberts, Brendan Fevola & Ben Dixon helped put the group through their warm up drills before having the opportunity to experience the adrenalin of running on to the mighty G to the sound of the siren.
